Shahzad is a postdoctoral fellow at Centre for Clinical Epidemiology and Evaluation (C2E2) and School of Population and Public Health . She completed her PhD in Computational Biophysics at UBC in 2015, researching atomistic and coarse-grained simulations of DNA Electrostatics. She is now bringing her analytical techniques to health sciences. Her current research focuses on mathematical modeling of COPD. Shahzad is very interested in developing disease simulation model for epidemiological and health economics analysis.
